Lighten Up! This is Humorous Literature!

This course provides an introductory survey of funny literature. Students will read, listen to, view and discuss the humor genre. We will consider:

• Why do we need humor?
• What makes you laugh?
• How is humor used?
• What are some types of humor?

During this course, be prepared to improve your reading, writing, speaking, viewing and listening skills while gaining a better understanding of this light-hearted literature.
